Walk Assist Mode is a feature designed to help you move your electric bike or trike alongside you while walking, without exerting the full effort of manually pushing its weight. This mode provides a low-power motor assist that moves the bike/trike at a slow, steady pace, matching walking speed.

Activating Walk Assist Mode:

  1. Starting Walk Assist: To activate Walk Assist Mode, press and hold the “-” button on your
  2. Engagement: Continue to hold the “-” button for 2 seconds. Upon doing so, the bike/trike’s display will switch to indicate that Walk Assist Mode is active. A “Walking Icon” appears in the PAS display area, signaling that the feature is engaged.
  3. In Action: Once activated, the motor will provide a gentle forward motion. This allows you to comfortably walk alongside your bike/trike without pushing it entirely with your own strength. It’s particularly helpful when navigating through areas where riding isn’t possible or when moving up ramps and inclines.

Exiting Walk Assist Mode:

  • Deactivation: To deactivate Walk Assist Mode, simply release the “-” button. The trike will stop providing motor assist, and you can then manually push the bike/trike or climb back on to ride as usual.

When to Use Walk Assist Mode:

  • Navigating Crowds: Ideal for moving through crowded spaces where riding might be difficult or prohibited.
  • Inclines and Ramps: Offers assistance when going up slopes, ramps, or any inclined surfaces where pushing the bike/trike can be challenging.
  • Indoor Spaces: Useful in indoor areas or transit stations where riding is not allowed but you need to move the bike/trike from one place to another.

Remember, Walk Assist Mode is intended to help you move the bike/trike at a walking pace. It is not designed for riding, and you should not attempt to ride the bike/trike while this mode is engaged to ensure safety.

Always check your surroundings and ensure you have a clear path while using Walk Assist Mode to prevent accidents or damage to the bike/trike.
